Who Am I?

I am a human playing the ‘game of life’, as I like to say, but I am also a highly trained coach, leader and guide. This training comes through school, yes, the University with continuing lifelong passion for education kind - as I am a well trained leader in the realms of physical, mental and spiritual genres. I have spent the last 25 years of my life conditioning my mind through the teachings of sport first, then rehabilitation in the physical realm, and finally, through the mental arena with specialty education to navigate the realms of our inner worlds - of which most of our adventures take place!

Kinesiology, then sports Psychology, Sociology - oh my! - so many subjects in such a short time when I first started expansive learning back in in University. My trainings now include a degree in the arts & science that is Kinesiology, along with a diploma in Hypnotherapy and 400+hours in trainings and teachings for my Yoga & Meditation leading. I have since expanded my repertoire so that I may instruct others in the advanced Pranamaya techniques as found in the stream of Yoga I am most passionately practicing - that is the path of Kriya Yoga, among many! Basically I am trained to teach what I love! Merging art with science, new techniques with old so that we may find our way home - meaning, to the truest, most expansive expression of our lives in the short time we are granted on this planet.

Since the pandemic I have taken a deep dive both professionally and personally through additional expansive trainings in polarity, spirituality, gifts, heart coherence, trauma and the stress response and much more. But just as much of my learnings comes from my every day life. I have a passion for human expansion and it never ends in a classroom for this one. I am a lover of ‘trying’ to test things as an experimenter of life. And these past few years have been startling to stay the least. Uncovering layers unbeknownst to me I have discovered greater depth and strength then I previously had ever seen - within and outside of me, in both worlds. There are methods for EVERYbody. Tools that heal, calm the busy mind, release pain, remove barriers and liberate the conscious to subconscious coherence we can use to master anything we desire. We need commitment, we need drive, but we need trust, spaciousness, ease and compassion as well, and all mixed in by equal amounts.

I’ve battled mental and physical fatigue these past few years, seeking high and low and everywhere in between to overcome these changes in me. My passion for overcoming fatigue has led me to more ease and a spaciousness I wouldn’t give up for anything. Every day I continue to learn and as always the never ending growth in body, mind and spirit continues to amaze me. I’ve never felt more blessed or more grateful than I do today. Overcoming and learning to live with the effects of post traumatic stress has been so difficult and yet such a massive gracious gift to me. I could never have learned the amount of tools that I have now to share, should I have missed this turn in my road. What gifts these dark moments have in-turn. Stay with it. You’ll get through. And I have some gifts to share:

Pranayama - Yogic Breath. Learning to breathe with intention may be one of the greatest gifts for decreasing physical and mental stress and fatigue, opening the windows to mindful expansion and clarifying direction - or anything else that you need! I practice Pranayama nearly every day, sometimes twice or as often as I need. Stress management through conscious prevention can lead to wonderful things.

Stress management - Finding Everyday Ease. Choosing your health first. Putting all else secondary. It’s a moment in time that transcends all perceived excuses. Once faced with mortality - you wonder, what else could be more important than taking care of my physical - mental - emotional and even spiritual bodies?

Love for life - that’s correct! Where is your “Zest"? Did it leave at some stage in life? That’s OK! But who do you want to be in the next chapter and the next after that? That is your choice. Find yourself. This is your one life. Fight.
