2027 ITINERARY*

*SUBJECT STILL TO SLIGHT CHANGES WITHIN THESE DATES.

Training (16-Weeks):

  • August 16th-November 28th, 2027 - group online training takes place to ensure all guests are ready to trek Kilimanjaro’s Lemosho Crater Long Route!

Arrival and Farm Stay 3-Days):

  • Nov 28th - arrival in Kili! Overnight at Mbahe Farm near the park entrance.

  • Nov 29th - walk/adapt/rest/permaculture tours & overnight at Mbahe Farm. Daily group Yoga & meditation.

  • Nov 30th - walk/rest/climb orientation, overnight at Mbahe Farm. Daily group Yoga & meditation.

Kilimanjaro (9-Day Climb):

  • Dec 1st - 9th - Climb Mount Kilimanjaro! Lemosho Crater 9-Day LONG ROUTE. Daily group Yoga & meditation.

  • Dec 9th - climbing down & a CELEBRATION lunch with the crew - overnight nearby (TBC).

Safari (5-Day Itinerary):

  • Dec 10th - mid-morning transfer into the Serengeti to visit the Maasai! Overnight & cultural activities.

  • Dec 11th - return to Kilimanjaro for BUSH PLANE FLIGHT! Depart Kilimanjaro 10.30am, arrive at Tented Camp to experience first night! Overnight bush camp.

  • Dec 12th - Serengeti all-day jeep tours & second overnight at tented camp.

  • Dec 13th - Hot Air Balloon Ride safari & jeep safari tour!!! Third overnight at tented camp.

  • Dec 14th - Mid-Day bush plane flight back to Kili region to head home and take transfers.

Group of 4-7 - $14, 500 usd per person

Group of 8+ - $13, 700 usd per person

TERMS

*Trip will run with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 17 guests.

*Trip ages are 16+. Guests ages 16 &17 must be accompanied by their parents or an adult chaperone.

*Trip Deposits - A Non-Refundable Trip Deposit of $1500 usd is required to secure a space in this Trip.

*50% of Trip Fee’s are due by November 28th, 2026.

*Full Trip Payments are due by January 1st, 2027 in order to assist us all in preparing for our flights etc! Please note that all trip payments outside of this date (today’s date up until December 31st, 11:59pm, 2026) are completely refundable other than your Deposit of $1500 usd.

TRIP INCLUDES!

  • Full-board double- occupancy accommodations (unless single supplement is added), national park fees, transfers - SENE safari vehicle, driver/guide, round trip flights Kilimanjaro to Serengeti, Serengeti balloon safari, 3-meals each day during SENE trip in Africa.

NOT INCLUDED:

  • Personal expenses including your FLIGHTS to and from Kilimanjaro from your home location, drinks & tips for crew and guides, personal clothing and gear, personal health & travel insurance and anything else of a personal nature not listed above.

Can you imagine…

Arriving, from across the world, to the sacred, motherland… Africa.  

Tanzania will warmly greet you as you transition into another world, Mbahe, a foot traffic Village Community at the base of the tallest freestanding mountain on the planet, Mount Kilimanjaro.

The first few days of the retreat welcome you to the fertile, magical lands in and around Mbahe!

These first few days will soothe your mind and bring you into a state of Coherence with the vibrations of peace, harmony and ease.  

Breathe in the delicious scent of eucalyptus.  Listen to the continuous rhythm of the Mbahe river while it flows through the Village lands.  See majestic “Kili” peeking through alpine clouds.  Taste the delicious, organic, natural foods, delivered fresh from farm to table with love.  

Start your mornings with locally picked and roasted Kilimanjaro coffee beans and delicious farm meals.  These days will be restorative but they will also include natural education in the form of wanderings through the local trail networks and encounters with the villagers. There are no formal roads in the village, so all villagers can be found walking to and from their daily duties, activities and chores.  

Mbahe and Tanzania are filled with open hearted and welcoming folk and they have developed a unique and very special relationship with each other and with the land.

Permaculture, sustainability and living in harmony with the land is a natural and necessary way of life for Mbahe and the surrounding villages in the Kilimanjaro region.  The local villagers have much to share with us in the areas of farming, co-creating and existing in harmony with each other and with the land.

The climb…

Once everyone has acclimatized to the pace and the elevation, the full Kilimanjaro trek begins.  

Starting at 1800 metres and summiting at 5895 metres, you will climb over 4000 meters, covering 71kms over a period of 8 nights and 9 days on the world famous Lemosho route.  We will take the long route, using the most scenic climb, to ensure adequate time for you to adapt to the elevation, to take in the entire beauty of this magnificent mountain and to transcend to the state of being you came here to receive.  

9 days climbing, trekking for an average of 3-10kms each day.  We are taking the long road.

Regroup, re-gear and rejoice after this Kilimanjaro expedition is completed!  Next we will come together with our non-climbing friends and partners who have joined us after the trek, to clean our gear and take a short rest together in Moshi town.

Taking some time to integrate and stabilize the energies and transformative changes we have shared and experienced both as a group and individually.  Preparations to transition to the second adventure of our journey together…

Get Wild!

AFTER KILI WE HEAD TO THE SERENGETI!

It’s time to play on the WILD side with the super natural animals of Serengeti National Park!  On this truly spectacular safari timeline we will enjoy spending long days as one with the rhythms of the wild Serengeti.

Travelling by private jeep and hot air balloon, we will explore the Serengeti in it’s prime locations with experienced, dedicated and keen eyed safari guides to lead our viewing adventure.  

You will get closer to animals than you can possibly imagine in this intimate and completely wild journey to remember.  

Big cats, black rhinoceros, elephant herds, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, monkeys…and so much more! You may them all, if the timing is right.  Staying 2 nights in a luxury tented camp is an experience you will never forget.

Listen to the wilderness just outside your canvas tent, while sleeping serenely under a wild African starry sky.  These tented camps are a must see and you will get closer to the nature in this unique accommodation experience.

HAVE YOU ALWAYS DREAMED OF TRAVELING TO AFRICA?

Perhaps it is an expanded mind, a widening in the eyes, even a noticeable jump in your heart beat. But something inside, SAY’S “YES”…

That tiny, magnificent whisper inside.

And that is the way of a calling that brought me to Africa in spring of 2022. After a seeming lifetime of forgetting that howl, the depths of my healing journey brought me to the motherland. Home. Through the wilds of my own great remembering. And a great healing, a release, an exhale beyond the dreams of my limited mind, took place for me, on that African retreat.

Ever since I was a child I had had an inner Vision in my minds eye for one trip I knew that I must take before I die. It was that dream of flying over the Serengeti at sunrise in a hot air balloon ride that stuck with me for most of my life. And now, after travelling and playing through the wilds of Africa, first and foremost slaying the demons and beasts of the inner critic, fear based ego mind to get there, I do believe that that dream and that vision was part of my destiny. And by following that whisper, this whole other world of remembering of who I am has opened for me. When I came home to Canada, I knew it was time.

And so we are ready to go to AFRICA!
